Preparation Steps

  1. Step 1/6

    Whisk together the caster sugar, melted butter, milk + lemon juice mixture and vanilla.

  2. Step 2/6

    Sift in the flour and baking soda and fold to combine.

  3. Step 3/6

    Transfer the batter into a 4 inch square mould.

  4. Step 4/6

    Bake at 180C for 14-15 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean.

  5. Step 5/6

    Whisk together the condensed milk, cream and milk and soak the warm cake with it.

  6. Step 6/6

    Refrigerate the cake for 3-4 hours and top with whipped cream and fresh berries.
