Preparation Steps
Step 1/10
Mix the small egg, plain flour, sea salt, full cream milk, caster sugar, skim milk powder, vanilla sugar, unsalted butter, and dry active yeast in a mixing bowl.

Knead the dough until smooth and let it rise for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Shape the dough into buns and place them on a baking tray. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

For the creme anglaise, heat the milk and vanilla pod in a saucepan until just boiling.

Whisk the egg yolk and sugar together in a bowl. Slowly pour the hot milk into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.

Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat until thickened. Chill in the fridge.

For the white chocolate ice cream, heat the milk and vanilla pod in a saucepan until just boiling.

Whisk the egg yolks and caster sugar together in a bowl. Slowly pour the hot milk into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.

Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat until thickened. Stir in the melted white chocolate. Freeze until firm.
