Preparation Steps
Step 1/9
Grate and squeeze the starch from the potatoes.
Step 2/9
Mix grated potatoes with gram flour, salt, chilly powder, jeera, garam masala, pepper powder, ginger garlic paste, and coriander in a mixing bowl.
Step 3/9
Form the mixture into small balls (koftas).
Step 4/9
Heat oil in a pan and fry the koftas until golden brown.
Step 5/9
In another pan, heat oil and add jeera, chopped onions, salt, turmeric powder, chilly powder, and ginger garlic paste. Cook until onions are golden brown.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft.
Step 7/9
Add fresh malai and kasuri methi. Cook the mixture on a slow flame for 7-8 minutes.
Step 8/9
Add water and the fried koftas to the gravy. Boil the dish for 8-10 minutes.
Step 9/9
Garnish with spring onions, coriander, tadka (ghee + red chilly powder), and malai before serving.
