Preparation Steps
Step 1/7
Preheat the oven to 275°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and set aside.
Step 2/7
Add the salmon to the sheet pan then drizzle with the olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Place the salmon in the oven for 30 minutes.
Step 3/7
While the salmon roasts, make the spicy mayonnaise. Add the mayonnaise, chili garlic sauce, lime juice, and tamari soy sauce to a small bowl. Mix to combine.
Step 4/7
Make the salmon mixture. Flake the salmon, then remove the skin. Add the salmon to a large bowl with the cilantro, cucumbers, mayonnaise, chili garlic sauce, and tamari soy sauce. Mix everything together.
Step 5/7
Assemble the rolls. Add about 2 tablespoons of the sushi rice at an angle to the left side of the nori sheet, top with a couple tablespoons of the salmon mixture, then a slice of avocado.
Step 6/7
Next, fold the bottom corner up towards the middle, then begin to roll the roll, picking it up in the process to finish wrapping it all the way around. You can put a small piece of the rice to hold the seaweed closed.
Step 7/7
Drizzle with the spicy mayo and sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
