Preparation Steps
Step 1/7
Cook pasta according to the package direction. Once the pasta is done, drain well in a colander and run under cold water to stop the cooking process.
Step 2/7
Season the chicken breast with some salt and pepper. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil and heat until shimmering.
Step 3/7
Place the chicken breast into the hot pan and sear each side until nicely golden-brown about 4 to 6 minutes per side.
Step 4/7
While the chicken is cooking, chop the lettuce into bite-size pieces and cut the tomatoes in half.
Step 5/7
Once the chicken is done, place it on a cutting board and then slice it into bite-size pieces.
Step 6/7
Next, place the cooked pasta, sliced chicken, lettuce, and tomatoes in a large salad bowl. Drizzle dressing on top and toss well to combine. Garnish with grated parmesan cheese.
Step 7/7
Serve the salad cold or at room temperature.
