Microwave the Biscoff spread on full power for 10 seconds to soften it.

Add 4 tbsp plain flour, 3 tbsp caster sugar, 3 tbsp brown sugar, and 1/4 tsp baking powder to the mug.

Add 1 egg, 3 tbsp whole milk, 3 tbsp vegetable oil, and the chocolate chips to the mug.

Whisk the mixture until smooth and no dry flour remains; scrape down the mug sides with the whisk or fork.

Continue microwaving in 30-second bursts until the sponge is set and springy, about 60 seconds more for a total cooking time of about 2 minutes.
