Step 2/11
Shred enough leftover chicken tikka to make about 1 1/2 cups (225 g) of filling.
Step 3/11

Step 4/11
Place 1 thawed puff pastry square on a clean work surface and put 2 tablespoons of leftover chicken tikka in its center.
Step 5/11
Top the chicken tikka with 1 tablespoon of shredded cheese.
Step 6/11
Moisten the pastry edges with a little water and fold one corner over to the opposite corner to form a triangle.
Step 7/11
Press the pastry edges closed with a fork and place the filled pastry on the lined baking tray.
Step 8/11
Repeat the filling and sealing process with the remaining 11 puff pastry squares, chicken tikka, and shredded cheese.
Step 9/11
Brush all 12 pastry puffs with the egg wash and sprinkle evenly with sesame seeds and nigella seeds.

Bake the pastry puffs for 25 minutes at 180°C / 350°F until deeply golden, puffed, and crisp.
Step 11/11
