Preparation Steps
Step 1/12
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line the 8 x 4 inch loaf pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
Step 2/12
Dissolve 1 teaspoon instant coffee in 1 tablespoon water until no granules remain.
Step 3/12
Whisk the melted salted butter and brown sugar together in the mixing bowl until glossy.
Step 4/12
Add the egg and dissolved coffee mixture. Whisk until the batter is smooth and evenly combined.
Step 5/12
Add 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract. Whisk briefly to incorporate it.
Step 6/12
Add the all-purpose flour to the wet mixture. Fold gently with a rubber spatula until just combined.
Step 7/12
Fold in 100 g roughly chopped walnuts. Stop mixing as soon as the walnuts are evenly distributed.
Step 8/12
Transfer the batter into the lined loaf pan. Spread the surface into an even layer.
Step 9/12
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 180°C (350°F). Test the center with a skewer; it should come out almost clean.
Step 10/12
Cool the blondie completely in the pan. Lift it out using the parchment paper and place it on a cooling rack.
Step 11/12
Slice the cooled blondie into 8 bite-sized squares. Spread chocolate ganache over the pieces.
Step 12/12
Top the ganache with walnuts for topping. Finish each bite with small pieces of edible gold foil.
