Preparation Steps

Rinse the 100 g dried hibiscus flowers and the 2 bunches fresh mint thoroughly under cold water.

Pour 3 L water into the large pot and bring it to a boil over the stovetop.
Step 3/9
Add the rinsed dried hibiscus flowers and 7 whole cloves to the boiling water.

Stir in the 2 tbsp lemongrass and the rinsed fresh mint.

Simmer the infusion for 15 min, then remove the pot from the heat.
Step 6/9
Strain the hibiscus infusion into the large pitcher and discard the solids.
Step 7/9
Add 100 g white sugar and stir until the sugar has fully dissolved.
Step 8/9
Stir in 2 tbsp vanilla flavoring and 3 tbsp orange blossom water.
Step 9/9
Chill the bissap in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, then serve cold.
