Preparation Steps

Drain the cooked chickpeas thoroughly.

Add the chickpeas, onion, garlic, and fresh parsley to the blender.

Pulse the mixture until finely chopped but not completely smooth.

Grate the zucchini using the box grater.

Wrap the grated zucchini in the clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much liquid as possible.

Transfer the chopped chickpea mixture and squeezed zucchini to the mixing bowl.

Add the chickpea flour, salt, ground cumin, and ground coriander to the bowl.

Add the lemon juice and mix until the ingredients form a moldable mixture.

Shape the mixture into 10 to 12 equal balls with your hands.

Heat the frying oil in the frying pan over medium heat.
