Preparation Steps
Step 1/12
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line one 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.
Step 2/12
Whisk the 150 g caster sugar and 100 g softened butter in a large mixing bowl until creamy.
Step 3/12
Whisk 70 g plain yogurt into the creamed butter mixture until smooth.
Step 4/12
Sift 180 g all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking powder, and 1/2 tsp baking soda together.
Step 5/12
Fold the sifted dry ingredients into the wet mixture, alternating with 120 ml milk.
Step 6/12
Fold 1/2 tsp vanilla extract into the plain batter. Divide the batter evenly among three separate bowls.
Step 7/12
Stir 20 g caramel sauce and 1 tsp instant coffee powder into one portion of batter until evenly colored.
Step 8/12
Stir 1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder into a second portion of batter until smooth. Leave the third portion as vanilla batter.
Step 9/12
Spoon the vanilla, caramel-coffee, and chocolate batters alternately into the prepared loaf pan.
Step 10/12
Gently swirl the batters once or twice with a wooden skewer to create thick marble patterns.
Step 11/12
Bake the cake at 180°C (350°F) for 35 to 40 minutes. Test the center with a wooden skewer; it should come out clean.
Step 12/12
Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes. Transfer it to a wire rack and cool completely before slicing.
