Preparation Steps

Crumble 100 g firm tofu into the mixing bowl.

Add 2 tsp soy sauce and 2 tsp white wine vinegar to the tofu.

Add 1/2 tsp Chinese five-spice powder and salt to taste.

Finely slice 1 scallion and add it to the tofu mixture.

Mix the filling thoroughly until the seasonings are evenly distributed.

Pour cold water into the shallow bowl and briefly dip 2 rice paper sheets until pliable.

Stack the 2 softened rice paper sheets together on a clean work surface.

Place one-fifth of the tofu filling in the center of the stacked rice paper sheets.

Fold the rice paper tightly around the filling to form a sealed dumpling.

Repeat the dipping, filling, and folding process to make 5 double-wrapped dumplings.

Arrange the dumplings in the air fryer basket and lightly brush with 1 tbsp neutral cooking oil.

Air fry at 200°C for 10 minutes until the wrappers are crisp and golden.

Serve the crispy dumplings with 2 tbsp peanut sauce for dipping.
