Preparation Steps

Finely zest 1 orange and 1 lemon, avoiding the bitter white pith.

Add 200 g sweetened condensed milk and 50 ml sunflower oil to a mixing bowl.

Whisk in 2 large eggs, the orange zest, and the lemon zest until smooth.

Combine 400 g wheat flour, 16 g baking powder, and a pinch of salt in the bowl.

Mix the dough until it is smooth, soft, and easy to handle.

Add up to 50 g more wheat flour if the dough remains too sticky to shape.

Divide the dough into 10 equal portions and roll each portion into a rope.

Join the ends of each rope and pinch them closed to form doughnut rings.

Pour 1 l frying oil into a deep frying pan and heat it over medium heat.

Fry the doughnut rings in batches for about 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
