Preparation Steps
Step 1/10
Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C). Line the small baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2/10
Whisk the small egg in the small bowl until smooth. Set the egg wash aside.
Step 3/10
Cut the apple into wedges and remove the core. Slice each wedge thinly to make about 36 to 48 apple slices.
Step 4/10
Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a clean work surface. Cut it into 6 equal squares.
Step 5/10
Place 1 tablespoon of honey in each of 6 separate spots on the lined baking sheet. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon over each honey spot.
Step 6/10
Arrange 6 to 8 apple slices over each honey-cinnamon spot. Cover each apple pile with 1 puff pastry square.
Step 7/10
Brush the top of each pastry square with the whisked egg. Bake until the pastry is puffed and deep golden brown, about 12 to 14 minutes.
Step 8/10
Turn each hot Danish apple-side up using the spatula. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.
Step 9/10
Bake in the oven until golden brown and puffed, 12-14 minutes.
Step 10/10
Flip around and dust with powdered sugar.
